Having built my own life across Korea, France and Australia, I do not come to international work as a theory. I come to it as lived experience. The industries differ, the accents differ and the organisational charts differ, but the person carrying the responsibility often feels the same weight: the isolation at the top, the pressure that follows them home and the quiet gap between how much they have achieved and how connected they feel to it.
What differs is everything around that. How openly a leader will name what they are feeling, what success is allowed to mean, and how directness or restraint is read in a room are shaped by culture. I have learned never to assume. My job is to listen first and long before I offer anything. The moment I decide I already know what a Singaporean founder or an American executive needs, I have stopped coaching them and started coaching a stereotype.
That is why I keep the work anchored in something that travels: inner alignment. Clarity, regulation under pressure and authentic influence do not belong to a market. They belong to a human being. A grounded decision looks the same in Perth as it does in New York.
