Views for 2023 and Beyond

The calendar year of 2022 just ended. But what does that mean for you?

For me, there is no meaning to the new year celebration as every day is a new day in my life. In a sense, it is just the perfect opportunity to be with friends and family and have a fun time!

Although there are some good reasons to celebrate the end of every 12 months and take it as a chance to review the past year and reset your vision, I also think that it is an excellent opportunity to reflect on ourselves and assess whether we are heading in the right direction of our dreams.

Yes, I believe in dreams and possibilities…

Some people create their own dreams, and some people just follow ‘Reality’.

Fulfilled people live by creating their dreams. They don’t just accept the circumstances and social conditioning. Most of us don’t dare to dream anymore and that leaves us living a life without hope and purpose. We don’t really know what we want, or who we really are.

I see lots of leaders who start their living their dreams and then become fearful of losing what they have accomplished. They stay in their comfort zones out of this fear.

Not reaching their full potential would keep them going in a circle, and heading toward a glass ceiling. That’s when their dream stops and ceases to grow. Fear installs and frustration begins.

They create their own ‘Reality’ and fit themselves into it but at the same time, they seek freedom.

But who is the creator of this reality around you?

The only way to stay happy and fulfilled is to grow and reset our vision for ourselves. The dream from yesterday is already part of your past. And you have absolute power to create a new version of yourself if you decide so….even every day.

Here’s a challenge. This coming weekend, sit down and take the time to meditate and re-create or refine your visions and dreams.

Are you up for it?
